From Pasta Grannies
2. Study and break down the information and processes from the channel
Details:
94 year old Isolina from Liguria shares her memories and her way of making tagliolini (taggiaen in her dialect) with basil pesto and potatoes.
Her pasta uses 600g 00 flour, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and enough water to make a dough (roughly 200ml)
Her pesto consists of 1 garlic clove crushed in 1 teaspoon rock salt, 4 bunches of young basil leaves (100g) 3 tablespoons pine nuts, 3 tablespoons grated parmesan, 1 tablespoon grated Pecorino Sardo, extra virgin olive oil to taste. One large potato.
Taggiaen is another name for taylorini. If you’re buying your pasta, look for trinette.
Break down:
1st phase:
She uses 600 grams of 00 flour, one egg, some salt (1/2 teaspoon salt), and about 2 tablespoons of ligurian olive oil(this has a mild flavor). The rest of the liquid needed to make the dough is waterproof.
2nd phase:
Once the dough is smooth she makes a round disc and rolls it out. She smooths the pasta while it’s wrapped around her pin, then pushes the dough sheet out making it slap on the marble.
3rd phase:
To make the basil pesto she prefers to use a pestle and mortar. She says a blender bruises the basil leaves too much. She pounds one garlic clove in a little rock salt followed by three tablespoons of pine nuts. To add plenty of basil leaves.
4th phase:
To add three tablespoons of parmesan and one spoon of pecorino sodor. Also she stirs through some olive oil. Bails pesto by the way freezes well.
5th phase:
She rolls up her well floured pasta sheet and slices of thin ribbons. And cut it to make taggiaen.
6th phase:
She peels a potato and slices it. She adds this to boiling salted water and cools it for a few minutes. The potato is added to the dish. Taggiaen cook for a couple of minutes. When it boils, mix it a bit and take it out.
7th phase:
She has a little pasta water to loosen her pesto. She dresses her pasta and potato slices with the pesto and lunch is ready!
3. You can start assemble mood board, visual reference, art style, sketches of your poster
1. Finalise sketch of the design for your poster - Poster should have visual hierarchy, information flow, and clear directives of the recipe processes.
2. Start working on the digital visual assets. Remember to use separate layers for assets for your motion animation in Project 2!

I tried to create it retro mood, so I added the paper material as soft over ray. It could make it better, I supposed. Also I just focused on how to make it simple but also clear to see with information.
2. Start working on the digital visual assets. Remember to use separate layers for assets for your motion animation in Project 2!
I created this animation with watching some lecture that is why I could make it better. I have tried make it simple to understand easily. I selected BGM from adobe to make mood like 80,90's.

●Feedback
Experience:
I could learn about AE enough this time. It was really difficult for me to use AE, but I really enjoyed it. For this task, I could know the recipe of taggiaen pasta with basil pesto as well. I would like to make it someday.
Observations:
I really glad to learn how to put the illustration from Ai to AE. Also I could have fun with learning pin tool to make it move in video.
Findings:
I noticed that how to export it clearly. Before I take this module, I didn't know it enough. Then now, I can deal with clearly and quickly.
