Week 1 :

This week, we've got the instruction of this module with the competition. Also we're required to do start with the idea for this project.

So I just decided to go through with the second topic, Renewal of life · Return with Open Design. I've started drawing the rough sketch with some references and the document which I prepared.

Week 2 :

After the consultation for my ideation with clarifying the theme, I just started coloring.

Also I got the feedback for animation, using the effect such as adding the bubbles for expressing the ocean.

The author is said to be the creator of phantom animals in "Star Wars," "Men in Black," and "Jumanji. He seems to create his phantom animals based on the skeletons and muscles of real animals, and the detailed drawings of the original animals are a highlight. The same posture, skeleton, musculature, and appearance are depicted in several different animals.

Unlike other books, there are dinosaurs, fish, amphibians, and reptiles.
It is valuable that these areas are depicted. There are also many deformations. Of course, they are those foreign-looking ones. The animals are also presented in such a way that you can tell what animal they were modeled after.

It may sound strange to speak of modern art from the fields of psychedelic culture, Zen, and shamanism, but the Fluxus movement that emerged in the 1960s, for example, embodied oriental anarchism, and Nam June Paik's "Zen for Head" (where Zen stands for Zen) performance at the Fluxus International Festival of Contemporary Music in 1962 is a case in point. Nam June Paik gave a performance called "Zen for Head" at the Fluxus International Festival of Contemporary Music in 1962, and it can be said that the author has conducted research that is indispensable for unraveling contemporary art. The mysticism of the artist is also an important basis for our attention to Art Brut and Outsider Art, which are "art by people who have not received formal art education" and "expression that is overlooked by existing art currents. When we look at Matsuzawa's works, I felt that it would be difficult to understand them unless we access deeply into the artist's spiritual aspect.
