Task instruction : 

Task 1 : 
As a final year design student, you are required to demonstrate design solution, through application and execution of design in digital portfolio projects. You are now required to build your presence in the digital world. Your digital portfolio should be able to showcase all the work you have completed thus far and it could also include your current work-in-progress. You are strongly encouraged to include work description, introduction of your own self, your show reel and curriculum vitate (CV).

• Digital portfolio link.
• Show reel (max. 120 seconds, no less than 5 works, end frame – name, number, email, portfolio link).
• Resume/CV
• Name card

Task 2 :
A project production journal (document) is required to document the progression of the design development and production management. This document captures all relevant progressive information and critical analyses that addresses the production
development. Weekly updates are expected for this documentation purposes.

At the end of the semester, the document is compiled in a PDF format and submitted together with the artefact submission.

Week 1 :

In this week, we got the brief of this module and task for exhibition and creating own digital portfolio.

So I've started creating the short reel of my portfolio which I'd created and designed previously. Also I prepared the resume and name card with Adobe application.

Here's the first attempt for the my portfolio ;

Also we've discussed about the style of exhibition and details with mood board.

Here's the my idea for the mood board. :
I just imagined the space because the exhibitin titles is "INBETWEEN".

In-between
- regarding the calm between the stressful studies and assignments during the pandemic and the next stage of choosing careers and taking on bigger responsibilities.

Week 2 :

In this week, we also discussed about the key visual. So I've tried to explore the type face for title. I've tried to create the element for imagine the style. And put the title from Tressa.

After the discussion, we've focused on the logo design.

Week 3 :
In this week, we've started focusing on each design, SNS, photo shooting, merch, etc after decided the logo design.
I got the task for designing the merch such as T-shirt, Tote bag and Sticker.

Week 4 :
This week, I created own portfolio website by using Wix.


Also I prepared the pattern design for SNS and so on,

Week 5-6 :

We continued with the work with the improvements. After I got the feedback for pattern design, I just tried to make them with more clarify the meaning of key visual. We prepared the sample of merch as well.

Also we did the shooting for SNS and exhibition description.


Week 7-10 :

In these week, we focused on recreate the key visuals, promotion video, final touch for merch design and each SNS posting.

For my part, I tried to create the key visual again with some meanings.  Also created the short promotion video and merch introduction video for instagram.





Week 11-14 :

We worked on some invitation cards, merch, the sns post etc in these weeks. We focused on the final touch for them. For me, I created the promo video for instagram with final editing and adjust the sticker design.







●Reflections

1. Experience:
I brought a wealth of creativity and skill to the exhibition project, particularly in the areas of key visual and illustration design. The experience they brought to the table was evident in the thoughtful and visually captivating elements that they incorporated into the project. Their dedication and passion for design were truly commendable, making a significant impact on the overall aesthetic of the exhibition.

2. Observation:
One notable aspect of my contribution was their meticulous attention to detail in preparing the key visual and illustration. The designs not only captured the essence of the exhibition but also served as a compelling visual narrative. They demonstrated a keen eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of how visual elements contribute to the overall atmosphere of the exhibition.

In addition to their design work, I played a crucial role in the merchandising aspect of the project. The T-shirt and tote bag designs reflected a seamless integration of creativity and market appeal. Their ability to balance artistic expression with practicality was evident in the merchandise, enhancing the overall experience for exhibition attendees.

Furthermore, I actively participated in guiding and assisting with the photo shooting process. Their collaborative approach was appreciated, ensuring that the promotional materials and documentation captured the essence of the exhibition accurately.

3. Findings:
One key finding from my involvement in the project is their proficiency in multi-faceted design tasks. Whether it was creating visuals, designing merchandise, or contributing to the promotional video, they showcased versatility and adaptability.

The success of my contributions extended beyond the design realm, positively impacting the overall promotion of the exhibition. Their efforts in creating the exhibition promotion video were instrumental in generating interest and excitement among the target audience. The video seamlessly communicated the theme and highlights of the exhibition, effectively engaging potential attendees.

In conclusion, my involvement significantly enriched the exhibition project, demonstrating a combination of creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail. They played a pivotal role in creating a visually compelling and cohesive experience for both participants and visitors.
