Week 1 :

This week, we're required to start researching the topic which we selected after we've got the instruction of this module.

So I've started to prepare the document for clarifying the topic I selected for this project. For animation student are required to create the short animation as final project which is not an assignment.

For the theme, topic is required to use from previous research method, dissertation, issue of SDGs or for client. This is why I selected own previous research which topic is kawaii yokai character in Japan. So this time I'll try to explore the style of yokai character with other culture in Japan.

●Reflections

Experience:
My dedication and commitment to spending over 10 weeks focusing on the details of my animation project are evident. This shows a strong work ethic and a passion for the subject matter. The fact that you infused my unique art style, described as trippy and psychedelic, into the Japanese yokai culture is an intriguing approach. It suggests a fusion of traditional elements with contemporary and avant-garde aesthetics, offering a fresh perspective on the subject.

Observation:
The incorporation of expressive colors, facial emotions, and collage scene animations demonstrates a thoughtful consideration of visual storytelling. It's notable that you delved into the nuances of yokai culture, as this implies a deep dive into the cultural and historical aspects. The use of trippy and psychedelic elements could add an extra layer of complexity to the narrative, allowing viewers to engage with the material on a visual and emotional level.

Findings:
My findings suggest that Japanese style animation can be a versatile medium for artistic expression, capable of transcending traditional boundaries. By combining the rich cultural tapestry of yokai with a trippy and psychedelic art style, I've likely created a unique viewing experience. This approach could be seen as a contemporary reinterpretation of Japanese cultural elements, appealing to audiences with a penchant for both traditional and avant-garde art.

In conclusion, my project seems to be a well-thought-out exploration of Japanese yokai culture, showcasing a blend of traditional themes and contemporary artistry. The fusion of my unique style with cultural elements could offer viewers a fresh and captivating perspective on Japanese animation.
